Ann Beha Architects

Odeh Engineers teamed up with Ann Beha Architects to design a new performing arts center as well as connections and renovations to two abutting historic buildings at The Wheeler School in Providence, RI.

The new Gilder Center for Performing Arts abuts the west wall of the existing historic library building and the south wall of the existing historic Wheeler Hall building. This 18,000 square foot, two-story building features a stepped seating auditorium, 5 new performing arts classrooms, studios, and storage spaces. The project also included the addition of balcony seating in the Black Box Theater, housed within one of the historic buildings.
