Odeh Engineers teamed with architect ADD, Inc. for the design of this high-rise mixed use project on a highly visible site in Boston’s South End. The 330,000 sf building is comprised of a 19-story high-rise building, an 11-story mid-rise building and an integrated 180 space, three-level parking garage. The two towers house 378 apartments and ground level retail spaces.
At the time of design and construction, Troy Boston is the tallest Girder-Slab building in the northeast standing at 19-stories.
Use of the “Girder-Slab” ™ system to allow for flush-framed precast plank floor structure.
Use of BIM in an integrated model with architect and other disciplines allowed for extremely rapid and accurate design
This project represents the tallest building ever constructed in New England using the “Girder-Slab” ™ system in 2014.
